Job summary

UFC GYM in Rosemead, CA is seeking a Front Desk Representative who greets members, handles inquiries, processes memberships, and drives the Ultimate Service Promise. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR/AED certification, and at least 6 months of customer service experience in health clubs or related fields.

You will assist with retail sales, manage phone lines, and help keep the lobby inviting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in health club, retail, hospitality or food service.
• Strong communication and telephone etiquette.
• Able to multi-task and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests warmly as they enter and leave the club.
• Answer calls professionally and transfer to the correct department.
• Check in members and verify memberships; sign up for classes.
• Assist with retail sales of supplements and apparel.
• Manage POS transactions and provide accurate change.
• Maintain a clean front desk and lobby area.
• Report safety or emergency issues to management.
• Attend meetings and assist with inventory and pricing as needed.
• Call overdue members regarding late dues and payments.
