Job summary

Loews Kansas City Hotel is seeking a friendly Front Office Agent to welcome guests from check-in to check-out. You will blend professionalism with genuine hospitality, ensuring each guest feels valued and cared for in a fast-paced lobby environment.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to handle guest requests, payments, and inquiries with efficiency and poise. Veterans and military spouses encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year guest service experience in hotel hospitality preferred.
• Experience with Property Management System, Opera preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time required.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, holidays as necessary/required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a seamless arrival experience.
• Assign rooms that meet guest preferences and special requests.
• Obtain and verify credit and payment information in accordance with hotel policies.
• Promote hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
• Maintain knowledge of upcoming events, group bookings, and banquet orders.
• Perform check-out procedures and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the Front Desk and lobby area.
• Handle emergencies with professionalism, prioritizing guest and team member safety.
