Job summary

Loews Kansas City Hotel is seeking a Front Office Agent to warmly greet guests, register them efficiently, and coordinate room assignments in a fast-paced downtown setting. You will promote hotel services, assist with payments, and maintain a welcoming lobby environment.

Requirements include minimum 1 year hospitality guest service experience, strong communication skills, and ability to stand for long periods. Weekend/evening shifts are required, with training and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year guest service experience in hotel hospitality preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with guests and team members.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and work varied schedules including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Assign rooms meeting guest preferences and requests.
• Obtain and verify credit and payment information per hotel policy.
• Promote hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
• Monitor cleanliness and appearance of the Front Desk and lobby area.
• Handle emergencies with professionalism and safety.
