Job summary

Forward Air Corporation is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely load, unload, and move freight in a multimodal terminal, warehouse, or dock environment. You will assist with documentation, inventory, and coordinating with drivers while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires forklift certification, strong English communication, and 3+ years of dock/warehouse experience. Work is onsite with potential for varied shifts to support operations.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to recognize numbers, barcodes, and freight markings accurately.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using sit-down/stand-up forklifts and MHE.
• Move, stage, sort, and position freight between dock doors and warehouse areas.
• Pick, pack, and prepare items for shipping and delivery.
• Assist drivers with loading/unloading following safety procedures.
• Label, scan, and track freight to ensure accuracy.
