Job summary

You will supervise dryer functions, coordinate schedules, train staff, and work with maintenance, QA, and labs to maintain quality and efficiency; a high school diploma and prior supervisory experience in food manufacturing are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of organizing and prioritizing tasks.
• Ability to coordinate several projects at once.
• Attention to detail and problem solving.
• Promote a safe work culture and comply with safety protocols.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; English reading/writing/speaking.

Responsibilities

• Follow GMPs and regulatory requirements to produce safe quality food.
• Supervise dryer functions, plant personnel and related activities.
• Troubleshoot production and equipment problems.
• Train and monitor employees on safety and cleaning procedures.
• Champion continuous improvement (5S, Kaizens, Poke Yoke, Idea Funnel).
• Monitor and document waste to improve cost and quality.
• Coordinate production schedules and adjust staffing as needed.
• Ensure correct operating parameters and review with Plant Manager.
• Coach and develop team leaders for success.
• Maintain plant safety programs and investigate incidents.
• Support maintenance for preventive repairs and equipment upkeep.
• Assist Lab and warehouse as needed.
• Complete SAP, Kronos and other plant systems data entry.
