Job summary

U.S. Xpress, Inc. is seeking a dedicated support professional for our Tunnel Hill terminal. This role handles incoming calls, chats, and emails to assist drivers with delays, issues, and payroll, while coordinating fuel, routing, and dispatch to keep operations moving efficiently.

You will monitor loads, communicate changes to customers and drivers, and ensure on-time delivery. Strong communication, passion for helping drivers, and calm problem solving are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls, live chats, and emails to assist drivers with delays, service issues, trailers, payroll, and other needs.
• Fuel and route drivers while promoting safety.
• Dispatch necessary resources (driver, truck, trailer) to address immediate issues.
• Resolve driver issues using critical thinking to solve problems.
• Monitor loads and inform customer accounts of changes to delivery/pickup times.
• Ensure on-time delivery and resolve load targets.
• Communicate professionally with Customers, Operations Drivers, and leadership.
• Respond to drivers and terminal needs and assist with emergencies.
• Understand and support company policies.
• Keep drivers rolling by managing PTAs, trailer solutions, BPMs, and home time guidelines.
• Assist others to achieve organizational objectives.
