Job summary

U.S. Xpress is seeking a Fleet Dispatcher for the THL weekend night shift at Tunnel Hill USX Terminal.

You will support drivers during Friday, Saturday, Sunday and every other Thursday 6:00 PM–6:00 AM to ensure loads are delivered safely and on time. Responsibilities include handling calls, chats, and emails from drivers, routing and fueling, dispatching resources, monitoring loads, and communicating with customers and leadership.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years driving experience, and/or operations, and/or customer experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide driver support during evening and/or weekend hours to keep loads on time.
• Answer calls, chats, and emails to assist drivers with delays and issues.
• Fuel and route drivers while promoting safety.
• Dispatch necessary resources to address immediate problems.
• Monitor loads and inform customers of changes to schedules.
• Ensure on-time delivery and resolve load targets.
• Communicate professionally with customers, operations, drivers, and leadership.
• Respond to terminal needs and emergencies as needed.
• Keep drivers compliant with policies and appointments.
• Support others to achieve organizational objectives.
