Job summary

Prime Inc. in Springfield, Missouri is seeking an eager Night Fleet Dispatch team member to help lead our drivers and our company to success. This entry-level opportunity provides a path into fleet management with minimal logistics experience, and you will learn our processes from the ground up.

The role requires overnight coverage after training, with a 4-days-on/4-days-off rotation (5pm–7am). On-site work now, with hybrid scheduling possible after one year of service and growth opportunities

Qualifications

• Four year college degree in supply chain management or related field or two years of management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Willingness to work at least 48 hours per week including overnights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Analyze dispatch information to ensure driver can meet service standards.
• Monitor compliance with Federal DOT regulations, HOS, hazardous materials, and accident reporting.
• Proactively monitor on-time pickup/delivery and freight security using prescribed systems.
• Accurately complete accident reports per company policy.
• Communicate policy and service expectations to drivers.
• Coordinate load relays to prevent service failures.
• Answer multi-line phone calls promptly to maintain communication with drivers.
• Process QUALCOMM messages in a timely manner.
• Be punctual and efficient in completing tasks.
• Notify Day Fleet Manager of relevant driver issues.
• Complete continuing training as directed by management.
