Job summary

Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital seeks a supplemental Medical Technologist or MLT to join our team for a combination of Evening and Overnight shifts.

Schedule includes Nights 7 p.m.–7 a.m. and Evenings 2:30–11 p.m., with weekdays and weekends as needed.

This role performs laboratory testing to support diagnosis and treatment, in a fast-paced environment requiring collaboration across specialties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science/Clinical Laboratory Science from an accredited institution OR
• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Science AND Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, biological, clinical/medical laboratory science

Responsibilities

• Manages daily laboratory operations including specimen collections, processing, quality control, and testing.
• Interprets, correlates, and verifies test results using techniques, principles, and instrumentation.
• Maintains analyzers and assists with instrument troubleshooting as needed.
• Supports point of care testing and Blood Bank operations for trauma services.
