Job summary
Electrical Automation Services in Swedesboro, NJ, is seeking a night-shift technician to maintain and improve electrical and control systems in food manufacturing equipment. You will document systems, troubleshoot electrical faults, and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across shifts to ensure continuous production.
The role requires an AS/AAS in electrical engineering or equivalent experience, with familiarity of Rockwell, Siemens and Mitsubishi software.
Qualifications
- AS/AAS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
- Experience with electrical and control system installation and maintenance.
- Familiarity with Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi software.
- Ability to read electrical, mechanical, instrumentation and control docs.
Responsibilities
- Maintain documentation for electrical and control systems.
- Assist Mechanics and Electro-Mechanics in diagnosing and resolving electrical or control issues.
- Provide training and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across shifts as needed.
- Occasionally work offsite to support equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
- Ensure production equipment is maintained per production schedule.
