Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Swedesboro, NJ is seeking an on-site Electrical Technician to maintain and repair machinery used in food manufacturing, focusing on electrical and control systems.

You will document systems, train Electro-Mechanics, troubleshoot with Rockwell/Siemens/Mitsubishi, and perform preventive, corrective, and scheduled maintenance across shifts, including occasional offsite work.

Qualifications

• AS/AAS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control system design docs.
• Familiarity with Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi software.
• Ability to read and interpret control system docs (D drawings, P&IDs) and troubleshoot.

Responsibilities

• Maintain documentation for electrical and control systems.
• Assist mechanics in diagnosing electrical or control issues.
• Train and coordinate electro-mechanics across shifts.
• Occasionally work offsite to support troubleshooting and repairs.
• Ensure production equipment is maintained per the schedule.
• Keep accurate work records and comply with GMP and safety standards.
• Perform preventive, scheduled, or corrective maintenance on process control systems.
• Identify and rectify equipment failures to restore production quickly.
