Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Swedesboro, NJ seeks an Electrical/Electronic Maintenance Technician to maintain and improve electrical and control systems in food manufacturing equipment. You will document, diagnose, and repair issues to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires night shift work, strong adherence to GMP and safety standards, and occasional travel for troubleshooting. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is offered, with on-site responsibilities and room for growth.

Qualifications

• AS/AAS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
• High school/military training and hands-on experience with electrical control systems.
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control documentation.
• Familiarity with Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi software and PM software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain documentation for all electrical and control systems.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical or control-related issues with mechanics.
• Provide training and coordinate electro-mechanics across shifts as needed.
• Occasionally work offsite to support equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
• Ensure production equipment is maintained according to the production schedule.
• Conduct electrical and mechanical inspections safely while equipment is operational.
• Address repairs during downtime following company and vendor specs.
• Maintain secondary systems for steam, hot and chilled water, pneumatics, HVAC, and emissions control.
