Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Swedesboro, NJ is seeking a night-shift technician to maintain, repair, and enhance machinery used in food manufacturing. The role focuses on documenting electrical and control systems, addressing hardware and software issues to keep production running smoothly.

You will diagnose and resolve electrical or control problems, coordinate Electro-Mechanics across shifts, and perform preventive maintenance on PLC networks, servo drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, and

Qualifications

• AS/AAS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
• High school or military training with hands-on machine and control system experience.
• Familiarity with Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi software; preventive maintenance software.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control system documentation.
• Experience with control projects, machine layouts, P&ID, and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain documentation for electrical and control systems.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical or control-related issues with mechanics/electro-mechanics.
• Coordinate Electro-Mechanics across shifts and provide training as needed.
• Perform preventive, scheduled, or corrective maintenance on control systems and networks.
