Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Swedesboro, NJ is seeking a maintenance technician specializing in electrical and control systems for food manufacturing. You will maintain documentation, diagnose electrical or control issues, and coordinate electro-mechanics across shifts to minimize downtime.

The role requires an AS/AAS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience, proficiency with Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi software, and strong GMP/safety practices.

Qualifications

• AS/AAS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/control system drawings and docs.
• Experience with Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi software.
• Strong preventive maintenance knowledge and safety compliance.
• Good documentation and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current documentation for all electrical and control systems.
• Assist Mechanics and Electro-Mechanics in diagnosing and resolving electrical or control-related issues.
• Provide training and coordinate the activities of Electro-Mechanics across all shifts as needed.
• Occasionally work offsite to support equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
• Ensure production equipment is maintained according to the production schedule.
• Conduct electrical and mechanical inspections safely while equipment is operational.
