Job summary

Paycom in Virginia is seeking a capable dispatcher/Load Planner to coordinate owner-operators and third-party carriers, ensuring efficient freight movement from the distribution center to receivers. You will monitor load readiness, schedule deliveries, and communicate ETAs to receivers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 2–3 years of distribution/transport experience preferred.
• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate owner operators and third-party carriers.
• Monitor load readiness and coordinate delivery times with locations.
• Advise on driver ETAs and re-route to maintain on-time delivery.
• Prepare routing and delivery instructions for third-party drivers.
• Maintain real-time load progress and update reports daily.
• Maintain compliance with hours-of-service regulations.
