Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Manager Nights to lead a multifunction team responsible for operational excellence in global data centers. The role emphasizes mentoring staff, devising strategies, and driving improvements across hardware, networking, and regional sites.

You will oversee 24/7 operations, participate in on-call rotations, and ensure safety, cost efficiency, and high service levels while coordinating with engineers, supply chain, and security teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of IT experience or a Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering/mathematics or equivalent
• 2+ years of people management experience
• 2+ years of operations and on-call support for data center facilities, mission critical plants, or production facilities experience

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign trouble tickets to data center technicians and operators
• Manage the performance of diverse teams of data center operation professionals across locations
• Developing Career Paths for employees and updating internal tools
• Recruit and train data technicians to ensure appropriate staffing levels
• Ensure day-to-day data center operations including queue management and 24/7 shift arrangements
