Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an Equipment Technician to perform preventative maintenance on CVD tools and recovery equipment. You will monitor processes, respond to interlocks, and document tool interruptions for proper disposition.

You’ll coordinate with the Process team and Shift Supervisor to schedule PMs and ensure adherence to SOPs with a strong focus on quality and safety. You will join a site committed to health, safety, and environmental guidelines and will work on-site

Qualifications

• 2+ years prior work experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Two year technical degree or equivalent military experience.
• Experience in Semiconductor/High Volume Manufacturing facilities.
• 300mm Endura Producer and/or AMAT experience strongly preferred.
• Prior experience working in high-volume fabrication.
• AMAT Robot experience is a strong plus along with LFM setup.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance following detailed SOP.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Monitor and respond to abnormal equipment signals.
• Work with senior personnel and engineers to perform troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance.
• Update SOPs when required.

Position Summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is looking for an Equipment Technician who will be responsible for performing activities involved with the recovery of CVD tools from PM including qualifications.

In this role you will perform preventative maintenance on CVD equipment and recovery equipment faults. Daily equipment process and equipment trend monitoring will be required, as is responding to interlocks in a timely manner. Documenting / communicating material from tool interruptions to Process team to ensure the material is measured and dispositioned correctly is also important.

You will interact with Shift Supervisor in scheduling PMs, delivering ETAs for tool recovery, Documenting/following standard operating procedures during PM execution is required. High energy with a focus on Quality and detail is important.

As a SAS Technician you will participate in site compliance with all health, safety and environmental management system guidelines.

Skills And Qualifications

Here’s what you’ll need:

• 2+ years prior work experience
• Two year technical degree, equivalent military experience (or if not available, 2-5 years direct experience).
• Experience working in Semiconductor/High Volume Manufacturing Facilities.
• 300mm Endura Producer and/or AMAT experience is strongly preferred
• Prior experience working in high volume fabrication
• AMAT Robot experience is also a strong plus along with LFM set-up

The current base salary range for this role is between $20.50/hour - $33.00/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
