Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an Equipment Technician to perform maintenance and recovery of CVD tools, and to monitor equipment performance. You will work with Process and Engineering teams to ensure timely tool recovery and SOP adherence, with a focus on quality and safety.

Requirements include 2+ years of experience, a 2-year technical degree or equivalent, and AMAT/semiconductor manufacturing exposure.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of prior work experience in the field.
• Two year technical degree or equivalent military experience; 2-5 years direct experience if degree not available.
• Experience in Semiconductor/High Volume Manufacturing facilities.
• AMAT Endura Producer experience preferred.
• AMAT Robot experience and LFM setup a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance following detailed SOPs.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Monitor and respond to abnormal equipment signals.
• Collaborate with senior personnel and engineers on troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance.
• Create or update SOPs as needed.
