Samsung Austin Semiconductor is hiring an Equipment Technician to install, maintain, and repair complex production machinery. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot failures, and restore production quickly, while ensuring precise calibration and safe operation.

The role requires hands-on experience with semiconductor equipment, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to read schematics. This on-site position offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2 years of hands-on equipment maintenance / troubleshooting experience (semiconductor preferred, but related high-tech manufacturing, industrial, or military acceptable).
• 3-5+ years of semiconductor equipment maintenance experience on specific tool platforms.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot to component level, read schematics, and work with vacuum/RF/pneumatic systems.

Responsabilités

• Execute preventive maintenance cycles and inspections to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot alarms, diagnose equipment status, and perform root-cause analysis for rapid repairs.
• Verify key equipment parameters and analyze performance trends.
• Assist in hardware installation and setup to ensure correct positioning and operations.
• Manage hardware modifications and validations associated with equipment changes.
• Conduct line patrols to monitor for leaks and maintain a clean production environment.
• Analyze equipment data to predict failures and optimize uptime.
