Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and support a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities include performing CT examinations per protocol, ALARA dose optimization, proper documentation in RIS/PACS, and clear patient communication using AIDET.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT certifications.
• BLS (Basic Life Support).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment independently and apply ALARA to minimize dose.
• Document studies accurately in RIS/PACS and verify patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and ensure patient comfort and safety.

Education
