Lockport Rehab & Health Center is seeking a Cook to join our team in Lockport, NY. The role covers preparation, cooking, and service of a variety of foods, with baking responsibilities for rolls, cookies, cakes, and pies.

You will assist on the tray line during meal service and perform general kitchen cleanup. Candidates should have at least one year of large-scale cooking experience, be able to work on physical tasks, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and demonstrate strong teamwork,

Mansioni

Lockport Rehab & Health Center is currently seeking a Cook.

Hours: 12pm - 7:30pm

Duties Include

• Preparation, cooking, and service of a variety of foods.
• Baking a variety of rolls, cookies, cakes, and pies.
• Working on tray line during meal service.
• General cleaning up of kitchen.
• Hand washing and sanitizing of pot and pans.
• Related work as required.

Requirements Include:

• Minimum one year of experience in large-scale cooking.
• Will manage Kitchen in absence of food service director.
• Reliable Transportation.

Necessary Skills/Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of large scale & therapeutic food prep.
• Must be able to do some physical work.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Should be a strong team player.
• Excellent customer service & communication skills.
