Crown Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Cortland, New York, is seeking a compassionate Cook for full-time evening shifts. The role offers a pay rate of $17.50 to $18 per hour and the opportunity to prepare meals and support residents with high-quality, therapeutic food in a busy kitchen.

Responsibilities include meal preparation and service, baking, tray-line service, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in large-scale cooking.
• Will manage the kitchen in the absence of the Food Service Director.
• Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting and standing for long periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Strong knowledge of large-scale and therapeutic food preparation.
