Job summary

Newfanerehab is seeking a Skilled Nursing Cook to prepare, cook, and serve a variety of meals for residents, with emphasis on therapeutic nutrition. You will participate in tray-line service and assist with kitchen duties on busy days.

Applicants should have at least one year of large-scale cooking experience, be a team player, and demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills. Reliable transportation is required and the role is on-site with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of large-scale and therapeutic food prep.
• Able to perform physical tasks in a kitchen environment.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Minimum one year of experience in large-scale cooking.
• Will manage Kitchen in absence of food service director.
• Reliable Transportation.
