Job summary

Groton Community Health Care Center in Groton, NY, is seeking a dedicated cook to join our kitchen team. The role includes meal preparation, baking, tray line service, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness to ensure high-quality resident meals.

The successful candidate will have at least one year of large-scale cooking experience, strong teamwork, and reliable transportation to the facility. This is a full-time on-site role with competitive pay and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in large-scale cooking.
• Will manage the kitchen in the absence of the Food Service Director.
• Reliable transportation to the facility.
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting and standing for long periods.
• Strong knowledge of large-scale and therapeutic food preparation.
