Job summary

Banner Ironwood Medical Center in Queen Creek, AZ is seeking a Certified Patient Care Assistant to support our PCU team. This full-time NIGHT shift (6pm–6:30am) includes a rotating weekend and holiday schedule, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus for licensed CNAs or LNAs.

You will deliver routine patient care, monitor vital signs, and assist with activities of daily living in a fast-paced environment. Your role supports the patient care plan, documents data, and communicates with licensed professionals

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current CNA in state of practice required for new hires.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care to promote comfort and contribute to the patient plan of care.
• Collect patient data including vital signs and input/output.
• Report health status changes to licensed professionals.
• Assist with basic procedures and use of medical equipment as delegated.
• Perform receptionist/clerical duties to support department operations.
• Maintain complete patient records and ensure charting is up to date.
