Job summary

Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa, AZ, is seeking a Certified Patient Care Assistant (CNA) / Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) for the 4th Floor Progressive Care Unit. The role involves providing routine patient care on a high-acuity unit, with a night shift (three 12-hour shifts) and a rotating weekends/holidays schedule.

A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered for licensed CNAs or LNAs. The PCA will support daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and assist with charting and documentation

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED/minimum educational equivalent.
Current BLS certification.
Current CNA license in state of practice (or transfer requirements).
Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living and hygiene.
Record vital signs, input/output, and other data; document in EMR.
Communicate patient status to the care team for continuity of care.
Assist with procedures and use equipment as directed by licensed staff.
Perform receptionist/clerical duties to support department operations.
Maintain complete patient records and supply checks; assist with charting.
