Qualifications

• Minimum six months' experience in an accredited hospital laboratory in at least two sections.
• Critical thinking, service excellence and strong interpersonal communication.
• Ability to learn, synthesize, make judgments, work independently and place patients first.

Responsibilities

• Follow hospital policies and document review.
• Ensure quality controls and document Levy-Jennings/Westgard rules.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and reagents.
• Train and orient new team members.
• Communicate clearly with coworkers and patients using AIDET.
• Report equipment or environmental issues for repair.
• Abide by HIPAA regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
