Job summary

Qualifications

• Active California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license (CLS) or National Medical Technologist license (MT, ASCP) or MTE-Microbiology.
• Eighteen months of CLS experience in an acute care hospital preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs all laboratory testing and related duties in assigned sections and provides accurate, timely results.
• Adheres to SOPs, quality assurance policies, regulatory compliance, and hospital policies.
• Provides guidance and oversight for department laboratory assistants, including training and competency.
