• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science/Biological Science or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing, quality control measures, and distribution of test results accurately and timely.
• Adhere to quality control policies; document calibrations and maintenance.
• Participate in departmental process improvement; meet turnaround times and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrate empathy and communication with patients and families.
• Engage in careful communication with physicians and co-workers.
• Identify issues impacting test performance and report or correct promptly.
• Follow procedures for handling and disposal of specimens and biohazard waste.
• Accurately process tests, reports, and maintain patient records.
• Maintain proficiency testing specimens tested consistently with patient samples.
