Job summary

Performance Food Group is hiring a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to warehouses and deliver full trailers to shuttle yards. You will operate a tandem tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate routes, adhering to DOT rules and safety standards.

Requirements include a CDL A with doubles endorsement, 21+ years old, and a clean MVR. The role is $60,000–$65,000 per year with per-trip pay and a 3rd shift schedule (Sun-Thurs).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months+ commercial driving experience preferred.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement required.
• Must be 21 years or older and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years and ability to pass pre-employment drug test.
• Available for 3rd shift, Sunday to Thursday nights.
• DOT Health Card valid or able to secure a new one.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks pre/post trip and inspect tractor/trailer per DOT rules.
• Report safety issues and required repairs promptly.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines during driving.
• Load/unload and secure freight, follow route schedule.
• Hook/unhook trailers and park/Store equipment securely.
• Maintain logs of hours of service as required.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.
