Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations. The role follows DOT regulations with safety-first procedures and involves communicating with customers and co-workers in a professional manner.

The position requires a valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement, 12 months of commercial driving experience, a clean MVR, and the ability to lift up to 90 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• 12 months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Pass road test.
• Valid DOT Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Report safety issues and needed repairs.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety policies while driving and delivering.
• Ensure route paperwork is complete and available at dispatch.
• Drive and deliver trailers according to the schedule and secure loads as required.
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs in accordance with regulations.
