Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver for a Sunday to Thursday night shift in the Columbus, OH area. You will transport empty trailers to warehouse locations, then turn around and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations, adhering to all DOT rules.

Responsibilities include performing safety checks, securing loads, and maintaining accurate hours of service records. The role requires a valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement and a clean MVR, with a focus on safe, timely

Qualifications

• 12 months commercial driving experience.
• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) on tractor/trailer per DOT regulations.
• Reports safety issues and/or repairs.
• Follows DOT regulations and company safety guidelines; reports hazards.
• Inspects trailer for proper loading and securing of freight.
• Drives and delivers trailers according to route schedule.
• Performs hook/unhook procedures and parks/stores tractors and trailers.
• Keeps equipment and freight secured and documents paperwork as required.
