Job summary

RR Donnelley in Monroe, WI is seeking a Bindery Operator 1 to work rotating 12-hour night shifts on a schedule that includes weekends. The role pays $20.15 per hour with a $3 premium shift differential, plus overtime and other pay if applicable.

You will set up and operate bindery equipment, ensure safety, monitor quality, and lead a crew through production steps to complete printed materials.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with different paper weights, sizes, kinds and colors to identify paper conditions and adjust machines.
• Familiarity with basic mathematics (decimals, metric units) for dimensional requirements in job orders.
• Ability to use standard and specialized tools to adjust and maintain bindery machines.
• Ability to read and interpret written work orders and maintain dimensional accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate binding machines with multiple functions to produce books and catalogs.
• Inspect equipment for safety issues and monitor quality, output and productivity.
• Direct crew through all aspects of production and coordinate multiple stations on a machine.
• Other duties as assigned.
