RR Donnelley & Sons in West Bend, WI is hiring for a 3rd shift Bindery Operator. You will set up and operate a range of bindery and finishing equipment, adjust stations, monitor quality and oversee crew to ensure timely production of printed materials.

The role requires reading work orders, operating automatic bindery machinery, and maintaining safety and accuracy throughout the production process. Pay includes a shift differential and benefits as described in the posting.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret written work orders or specs for bindery production, ensuring dimensional accuracy.
• Must be able to calculate distances, clearances, and fits when using combining machines.
• Skill in using standard and specialized tools to adjust bindery equipment.
• Knowledge of automatic binding and finishing machines and their operation and safety.
• Understanding of paper stock types and their finishing requirements.
• Experience setting up and adjusting machines for precise folding, collating and cutting.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate various bindery machines to produce final books, catalogs, or magazines.
• Monitor equipment and output for quality and productivity.
• Direct crew through production steps and coordinate multiple stations.
• Inspect equipment for safety and perform minor adjustments as needed.
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency across finishing operations.
