You will balance transactions, post charges, and assist with check-ins/outs while supporting management with daily operations and accurate financial records.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year in hotel front desk experience.
• Understanding of auditing, balancing, and closing accounts.
• Experience handling cash and basic accounting procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Aufgaben

• Check front office accounting records for accuracy and summarize information for the hotel's financial records.
• Track room revenue, occupancy percentages, and other front office operating statistics.
• Post room charges and room taxes to guest accounts including charges not posted during the day.
• Balance the days charges and ensure proper posting to guest folios or master accounts.
• Process guest charges vouchers and credit card vouchers.
• Transfer charges and deposits to master accounts.
• Check that all charges are assigned to the correct departments.
• Verify transactions are supported by documentation and signatures.
• Print and file reservations for the next business day.
• Monitor coupons, discounts, and promotional programs.
• Perform check-ins and check-outs and wake-up calls.
• Summarize results of operations for management.
• Respond to guest needs, special requests, and complaints.
