Job summary

Arbor Lodging is seeking a Night Auditor to oversee overnight audit processes and related accounting functions, including daily revenue reporting, balance checks, and final statements for next-day check-outs. The role may include late-night reception duties including guest check-ins and addressing requests.

Responsibilities include reviewing front office records, tracking room revenue and occupancy, posting charges, and ensuring accurate accounting for the day’s activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of hotel front desk experience.
• Understand basic auditing, balancing, and closing out accounts.
• Know how to operate front office equipment.
• Experience handling cash, accounting procedures, and general administrative tasks.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Check front office accounting records for accuracy and summarize information for the hotel’s financial records.
• Track room revenue, occupancy percentages, and other front office statistics.
• Post room charges and taxes to guest accounts and ensure proper posting to folios.
• Balance the days charges and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform check-ins and check-outs for overnight guests and handle guest requests.
