Job summary

Generation Hospitality Group is seeking a Night Auditor for Hilton Garden Inn Billings. This full-time, hourly role oversees overnight hotel operations and financial reconciliation, ensuring all daily transactions are correctly posted and the PM system is ready for the next day.

You will balance revenues, prepare end-of-day reports, and provide courteous service to guests during late hours. The position requires detail orientation, comfort working independently, and the ability to maintain

Qualifications

• Front desk or night audit experience in hospitality preferred.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency with computers and property management/reservation systems.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to handle guest issues professionally with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Must meet legal employment requirements and background checks.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift light loads.

Responsibilities

• Perform nightly audit procedures and balance daily financial transactions.
• Review front office postings and correct discrepancies before close.
• Prepare and distribute nightly reports for management and accounting.
• Check guests in and out per hotel standards with accurate data.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests during the night.
• Monitor lobby and public areas for safety and security.
• Process bookings, cancellations, and changes in the PMS.
• Reconcile cash drawers and balance payments at shift end.
• Coordinate with housekeeping/maintenance for overnight status updates.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming front desk and lobby overnight.
