Job summary

Hotel Oceana Santa Monica is seeking a Night Auditor to manage overnight front desk operations and ensure exceptional guest service at a premier oceanfront property.

Two-plus years of front desk experience, preferably in overnight shifts at luxury hotels, plus familiarity with Hilton software (OnQ, R&I, GRO) are required. This full-time role includes weekend/holiday scheduling and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Hospitality degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum of two years in front desk, overnight preferred, in a luxury hotel.
  • Experience with Hilton software OnQ, R&I, GRO or equivalents.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overnight front desk services to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Balance day-shift accounts and prepare vendor payments.
  • Review invoices against receipts and organize daily messages for the day team.
  • Address guest requests, wake-up calls, and special arrangements.
  • Maintain hotel standards and assist with other Front Office duties as needed.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join the team as a Night Auditor at the #1 Hotel in Los Angeles, as voted by Travel and Leisure: Oceana in Santa Monica, CA. This oceanfront, all-suite hotel reopened in July 2019 after undergoing a $35 Million complete transformation, and we are now seeking motivated, enthusiastic professionals to become integral members of our team.As a Night Auditor, you will provide all front desk services overnight to achieve high guest satisfaction and unparalleled service for our current and future guests. If you have at least two years of front desk experience, preferably in an overnight capacity, at a luxury hotel or resort and have worked using Hilton software (OnQ, R&I, GRO, etc.), then we want you to apply today. Your attention to detail will support the Front Office functions in other administrative responsibilities, including balancing day-shift accounts, preparing vendor payments, notating outstanding guest payments, checking invoices against receipt of supplies, and organizing messages for the day shift.You strongly desire to ensure every guest’s stay meets or even exceeds the hotel’s standards, and you enjoy providing other services for our guests, such as taking requests for wake-up calls and accommodating general and unique requests.Your friendly, efficient, and high-touch approach is perfect for engaging with guests and team members. You appropriately address guest concerns and escalate complaints as needed.
