Job summary

Role Overview

Lead the maintenance and repair program at a four‑star or five‑star hotel, ensuring that the property operates safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Perform ongoing facility maintenance and repair equipment to keep the property operating smoothly.
  • Address common maintenance issues such as machinery, plumbing, heating, and wiring, and inspect the building to confirm safety standards.
  • Lead the maintenance and repair team, prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely completion.
  • Maintain and enforce company standards for operational processes and procedures related to the hotel’s maintenance program.
  • Escalate issues promptly and collaborate with guests and team members to resolve maintenance concerns with a friendly, high‑touch approach.
Work Schedule & Dress Code

Full‑time hospitality schedule defined by operational needs, including weekends and holidays.

Conform to hotel dress and grooming standards: wear the hotel‑issued uniform, no visible tattoos or unnatural hair colors while wearing a uniform, no piercings except one pair of earrings, and neatly groomed facial hair.

  • Experience maintaining and repairing HVAC systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Valid driver’s license to operate company‑owned vehicles or own vehicle for work.
Physical Requirements
  • Full‑time hours on a schedule defined by operational needs.
  • Travel: None.
  • Lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds frequently; up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Use hands to manipulate tools and objects; adequate vision and stamina.
  • Move about the property: stand for extended periods, walk, climb stairs and ladders, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in various weather conditions and climates.
