You will verify payments, balance receipts, assist with check-ins/outs, and coordinate with housekeeping. Strong bookkeeping, guest service, and independent decision-making are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
• Proficiency in basic bookkeeping and balancing financial transactions.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in using property management systems and office software.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and assign rooms to hotel guests.
• Verify customer payments and process authorizations.
• Balance daily receipts and revenues; perform income audits.
• Assist guests with check-out, review accounts, and resolve discrepancies.
• Answer phones and address inquiries; coordinate with overnight staff.
• Make and confirm reservations with accurate data entry.
• Provide guests with information on hotel services and local attractions.
• Document guest feedback and escalate issues to management.
• Conduct nightly checks to ensure hotel standards are met.
• Maintain security and safety during overnight shifts.
