Job summary

The Heathman Hotel Kirkland, part of Columbia Hospitality, is seeking a part-time Night Auditor to manage nightly front desk operations and financial reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and guest satisfaction.

You will oversee nightly shift activities, handle cash and POS transactions, maintain guest confidentiality, and collaborate with departments to maintain security and smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year hospitality experience required.
• 2 year hotel/clerk experience strongly preferred.
• Cash handling and computerized POS experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to secure property by walking halls to ensure doors are locked.
• Strong customer relations skills and negotiation skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day night operation of the property including front desk operations and financial reconciliation.
• Ensure front office activities meet established standards and goals.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information and data.
• Assist guests, team members, and vendors during the shift.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment; report security concerns immediately.
• Respond to and resolve guest issues and concerns.
• Communicate with all departments to keep staff informed of updates and issues.
• Ensure front office, lobby and storage areas are clean and organized.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and used properly.
