Job summary

DoubleTree Houston at The Galleria is seeking an outgoing, self-motivated Night Auditor who excels in guest service and attention to detail. If you enjoy engaging with guests and keeping operations running smoothly overnight, submit your resume to apply!

This position requires at least 1 year of night audit or front desk experience, the ability to work overnight shifts including holidays and weekends, and solid English communication plus basic math skills.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hotel night audit or front desk experience.
• Available for overnight shifts, including holidays and weekends.
• Able to communicate effectively in English.
• Strong basic math and arithmetic accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Balance room, restaurant and bar revenues, post and balance charges and settlements, maintain files and reset the systems for next day operations.
• Prepare daily restaurant revenue report data by auditing point of service tapes/journals to breakdown revenue, covers, waiters' fees, tips paid out and settlements by type and cashier.
• Run audit reports and input revenue/expenses/allowances to generate the daily reports.
• Resolve guest related issues and complaints.
• Manage overnight front desk operations and work with hotel security to help ensure safety measures are maintained.
