Job summary

The Crescent Hotels Group is seeking a Night Auditor at our DoubleTree by the Galleria location in Houston, TX. The role is guest-service oriented, requiring an outgoing, self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail to balance revenues and maintain overnight operations.

Responsibilities

• Balance room, restaurant and bar revenues, post and balance charges, and reset systems for next day operations.
• Prepare daily restaurant revenue report data by auditing POS tapes/journals to breakdown revenue, covers, tips, and settlements.
• Run audit reports and input revenue/expenses/allowances to generate daily reports.
• Resolve guest-related issues and complaints.
• Manage overnight front desk operations and coordinate with hotel security for safety.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• At least one (1) year of previous hotel night audit or hotel front desk experience.
• Flexible to work any overnight shift, including holidays and weekends.
• Must have the ability to communicate in English.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to make accurate mathematical calculations.
• Previous direct customer service experience.
