Job summary

DoubleTree Houston at The Galleria is seeking a Front Desk Guest Services Associate to warmly welcome guests, complete the check-in process, and explain hotel amenities for a smooth, enjoyable stay.

Two years of direct customer service experience are required; hotel front desk experience is preferred, with strong English communication and computer skills. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k matching, life insurance, paid time off, and hotel employee discounts.

DoubleTree Hotel and Suites by the Galleria is looking for people who are passionate about delivering great guest service and enjoy engaging with people. If you have an outgoing personality and previous direct customer service experience

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Two (2) years of direct customer service experience required
• Previous hotel front desk experience highly preferred
• Previous Hilton Brand experience a plus
• Flexible to work AM and PM shifts, mid-shifts, weekends and holidays
• Must have the ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written
• High comfortability in working with computers
• Must be able to stand/walk for at least eight (8) hours
• Basic mathematical skills for cash handling purposes
