Job summary

Residence Inn by Marriott Annapolis is seeking a friendly Night Auditor to balance hotel transactions and close the day, respond to guest requests, and keep the front desk area clean and welcoming.

The role covers overnight shifts, checking in/out guests, posting charges, balancing ledgers, and reporting daily close to the Lead Audit team. Colwen Hotels offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• One year of related hotel experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Superior interpersonal and customer-service skills.
• Familiarity with local area and ability to provide directions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and common software.
• Ability to learn computer software and operate a property management system.

Responsibilities

• Operate the front desk and assist guests with inquiries during pre-arrival, registration, stay, checkout.
• Complete end-of-day tasks including posting charges, balancing ledgers, and night audit.
• Provide exceptional guest service and ensure timely check-in/out.
• Maintain lobby and front desk area neat and orderly.
• Communicate with Lead Audit team about daily closing and issues.
• Handle confidential guest information discreetly.
• Adhere to Colwen and brand standards; manage key controls.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
