Job summary

The Glen House Hotel is seeking a Night Auditor to manage end-of-day accounting, audit guest accounts, and assist with check-in/check-out during quiet overnight hours. You’ll ensure accurate financial processing and daily reporting while delivering excellent guest service in a serene alpine setting.

This overnight position supports the morning shift with precise reconciliation and revenue optimization, complemented by a commitment to hospitality excellence and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions.
• Must be willing to cross train in other accounting or hotel-related areas.
• Knowledge/experience of accounting principles; prior customer service/hospitality experience is preferred; high school diploma and/or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Audit and reconcile financial and statistical reports.
• Prepare and distribute necessary daily reports as required (i.e. Daily Operating Report, Tax Reports, etc.).
• Prepare and distribute month-end reports.
• Audit, reconcile, consolidate, and transmit all credit cards on a timely basis.
• Prioritize job functions in order to meet deadlines.
• Perform daily, weekly, monthly and annual data processing system functions as required.
• Keep management abreast of any unusual operational or financial events and/or deviations of policies or procedures.
• Respond to governmental inquiries upon receipt.
