Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounting operations including AR/AP processes.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to use a 10-key by touch.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and employees.
• Accurate data entry into computer systems.
• Professional English communication and telephone etiquette.
• Attention to detail and courteous guest interaction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily Restaurant Revenue Report by auditing Micros tapes/journals and breakdown revenue and tips.
• Run audit reports/journals and balance revenue and settlements.
• Make corrections/adjustments and address computer problems during shift.
• Input revenue/expenses/allowances to generate Daily Revenue reports.
• Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly and reset systems for next day.
• Assist Controller and Assistant Controller as needed by department.
• Ensure reports and back-up vouchers are complete and filed properly.
• Coordinate front desk and restaurants/bars closing to finalize day totals.
• Greet guests warmly, assist with check-in/check-out, and provide accurate information.
