Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management in San Diego is seeking a flexible Front Desk Agent to balance room, restaurant and bar daily work, post and balance charges, and reset systems for next day operations. You may work as a front desk agent during shifts and support accounting tasks.

The role requires accuracy, customer service, and the ability to handle cash, credit cards, and nightly settlements. The position operates in a fast-paced hotel environment with 24/7 scheduling, ongoing training, and

Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounting operations including accounts receivable/payable.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to operate a 10-key by touch.
• Ability to handle guest and employee concerns professionally.
• Ability to input information using a moderately complex computer.
• English language skills sufficient for communication with guests and staff.
• Hearing and visual ability to observe emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Balance room, restaurant and bar daily work and post charges.
• Maintain files and reset systems for next day operations.
• Assist as front desk agent during shift as needed.
• Prepare daily Revenue Report and audit journals.
• Input revenue/expenses into the system to generate daily reports.
• Balance revenue and settlements nightly and coordinate close of day.
