Job summary

Ivy Hospitality is seeking a Night Auditor for the Cleveland area to oversee nightly front desk operations and reconcile daily financial activity. You will run the trial balance and prepare reports for next-day operations while maintaining exceptional guest service during the overnight shift.

Responsibilities include guest check-in/check-out, handling reservations, addressing guest inquiries, and ensuring accurate accounting processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years in accounting or front office position preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Extensive knowledge of hotel services and local area attractions.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nightly front desk operations and guest services.
• Reconcile daily financial activity and run the trial balance.
• Prepare and distribute next-day reports for various departments.
• Handle guest check-in/check-out and reservations with accuracy.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve complaints.
• Maintain a house bank and post charges as needed.
• Adhere to SOPs and operate the PMS and key systems.
• Upsell during reservations and walk-ins to increase revenue.
• Support other departments and communicate across teams as needed.
