Job summary

HM Alpha Hotels & Resorts in Indianapolis is seeking a Night Auditor to ensure financial accuracy and guest satisfaction during overnight hours. The role reconciles daily revenue, prepares reports, and serves as the point of contact for guest services, maintaining continuity between shifts.

The position requires strong numerical skills, independence overnight, and excellent guest service. You will balance cash, reset front office systems, operate PBX, and act as Manager on Duty during the night

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required prior to employment.
• Overnight availability and ability to work independently.
• Guest service/front desk experience preferred.
• Cash handling and reconciliation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct overnight audit procedures in line with standards.
• Verify wake-up calls and guest requests.
• Balance and reconcile cash receipts and transactions.
• Reset front office systems for the next business day.
• Act as Guest Service representative and Manager on Duty overnight.
• Operate the PBX system during the audit shift.
• Attend front office meetings and trainings.

Job description

The Night Auditor plays a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy and guest satisfaction during overnight hours. This position reconciles daily revenue, prepares reports, and serves as the point of contact for guest services, maintaining operational continuity between shifts.

HOW YOU'LL SHAPE THE EXPERIENCE & FUTURE

• Conduct daily audit procedures in compliance with hotel and company standards.
• Verify and follow up on wake-up call requests.
• Balance and reconcile cash receipts and transactions, ensuring timely deposits.
• Reset front office systems and operations for the upcoming business day.
• Serve as Guest Service representative and Manager on Duty overnight.
• Operate the PBX system during the audit shift.
• Participate actively in front office meetings and training sessions.
• Greet and assist guests with a welcoming and professional demeanor.
• Other duties as assigned.
